Celebrating Our 20th Year in Business
2024 marks the 20th anniversary of Medalist Capital. We celebrate this milestone achievement with gratitude for where we began and a deep appreciation for the effort and dedication of our team members. “While reflecting on the past 20 years with Medalist Capital, I am grateful for the incredible culture Don Williams has created. In 2004, our company started with less than ten employees. While battling through another recession, we now have 34 employees and five offices, and are only continuing to grow,” said Medalist Principal, Bat Barber. “Our firm remains continuously motivated by where we are headed; it’s truly inspiring to be a part of.”
Since we opened our doors in 2004, we have reached over $18.3 Billion in loan volume with over 1,850 loans closed. With a $3.6 Billion servicing portfolio, Medalist Capital now has five office locations across the Mideast and East Coast. In February of this year, we expanded into Nashville and opened an office with our new colleague Ian Anderson at the helm. Additionally, we have gained eight new team members over the past six months. Aside from broadening our reach, office locations, and people – we are also constantly enhancing our service lines. Just two years ago, we added an Investment Sales and Equity division to our array of expertise. Our Investment Sales and Equity Team alone has grown from two professionals to six over just the last year.
We would not be celebrating two decades of excellence without the unwavering support of our clients, friends, and family along the way. We are most thankful to our borrowers and lenders for their extraordinary loyalty and partnership. Medalist would not be where it is today without them, and we are immensely proud of the longstanding relationships and shared accomplishments we have forged over the years together. “The team at Medalist is an indispensable part of our success,” said client Dan Magid, Managing Principal of Clear Path Asset Management. “They allow us to easily keep our fingers on the pulse of the market and build new foundational relationships. They are truly a part of our team, and we look forward to a continued partnership for many more years.”
Many more years to come is exactly what we are planning for. It is a gift to pause, reflect, and honor the path we have traveled together so far. This moment also leaves us feeling energized and passionate about what is in store for the next 20 years. Cheers to success built on honesty, integrity, and hard work!
