The Medalist Capital team continues to grow! Please join us in welcoming Jack Nesbitt to our Nashville office, and new hires Patricia Alemparte Glass, Kaytee Kinsey, Sam Culpepper, and Hardy Weatherspoon to our Raleigh office.

Jack Nesbitt, Associate  |  Nashville

Mr. Nesbitt joined Medalist Capital as an Associate Producer in 2024. Prior to joining the Medalist team, he worked in the Nashville offices of Cushman Wakefield and JLL, where he focused on multifamily investment sales. Before joining JLL, Mr. Nesbitt worked as a portfolio manager at FirstBank in Nashville. Mr. Nesbitt earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University, Cox School of Business.  

Patricia Alemparte Glass, Loan Closing Specialist  |  Raleigh

Ms. Alemparte Glass joined Medalist Capital in 2024 as a loan closing specialist. With more than 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, she has facilitated loan closings with various private equity, banks, life insurance companies, and conduits. Ms. Alemparte Glass has experience in M&A, commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, sales, portfolio sales, cell towers, hospitality and value add properties. She is also a licensed commercial real estate broker. Before joining Medalist Capital, Ms. Alemparte Glass worked with Becker & Polikoff, P.A. as a commercial real estate paralegal. Ms. Alemparte Glass graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Hunter College, City University of New York. 

Kaytee Kinsey, Loan Servicing Administrator  |  Raleigh

Ms. Kinsey joined Medalist Capital in June of 2024. Prior to joining Medalist, she was an AmeriCorps member for several years and for the past decade she worked for the second largest credit union. Ms. Kinsey graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Appalachian State University.

Sam Culpepper, Analyst  |  Raleigh

Mr. Culpepper joined Medalist Capital as an analyst in July of 2024. Prior to joining Medalist, he worked as a Research Analyst at LP Equity in Wilmington, NC where he focused on acquiring interests in commercial real estate partnerships. Mr. Culpepper graduated with honors and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a concentration in finance from the Cameron School of Business. 

Hardy Weatherspoon, Analyst  |  Raleigh

Mr. Weatherspoon joined Medalist Capital as an analyst in July of 2024. Mr. Weatherspoon graduated with honors from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Society with a minor in Real Estate at the Kenan-Flagler Business School. He is a Raleigh native and graduated from Broughton High School.
