Mr. Barber has more than 25 years of experience in the mortgage banking industry. Before joining Medalist Capital, Mr. Barber was a vice president with Capital Advisors from 1996 to 2004. He served as the assistant director of admissions at Woodberry Forest School from 1994 to 1996 and was a credit analyst for Wachovia Bank from 1992 to 1994.

Mr. Barber is a graduate of Woodberry Forest School and earned a Bachelor of Arts from Hampden-Sydney College.

Mr. Barber is an active member of Christ Church in Raleigh. He is married and has three children.
