Mr. Ortiz joined Medalist Capital as an analyst in 2023. Prior to joining the Medalist team, he was an investment sales broker with Sands Investment Group, focusing on single tenant net lease properties. Prior to that role, he was a financial advisor with UBS Financial.

Mr. Ortiz earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. Before that, Drew was a student athlete and member of the men’s lacrosse team at High Point University.
